My name is Sindi Leo, I am married and have four children, three which are grown adults. I have been with the Prince William County Police Department for 20 years along with my husband who has been with the same employer for 22 years. I am currently assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division, Major Property Crimes Unit as a Detective. The highlights of my police career involve being the primary crime scene technician in the Bobbit case and being involved in the sniper case currently being tried.

I became involved with Rottweilers and was a member of the National Capital KC, the American Rottweiler Club, Medallion Rottweiler Club and the Colonial Rottweiler Club. I merged towards Bernese Mountain Dogs and started with my foundation bitch CH Degrasso’s Harleigh V Legacy who has produced 9 BMDCA Conformation Champions and 2 BMDCA National Futurity winners along with regional sweeps winners. Her get is currently becoming top producers themselves with the BMDCA. I currently have CH L-Sin’s Dream’s and Desire’s who is ranked in the US as the number 2 dog all systems. He was the BOB and Best BBE at the 2002 Eukanuba Classic Invitational and a group winner in the states. Gunner is the only Bernese in the top ten that is breeder, owner, handled. I co-bred with Chris McLean, A/C CH Skylyn-L-Sin’s Chip Shot NDD, who was Best in Sweeps at the 2000 BMDCA National and Best in Futurity at the 2001 BMDCA National. I bred the 2003 BMDCA Futurity winner this past year, L-Sin’s Mountainair Navy Blue owned by Darcy Babb. The 2003 Canadian National Specialty winner is out of CH L-Sin’s Best Bet at Skylyn who I had bred.

I have judged the Ohio Regional Sweepstakes in 2001, Futurity at the BMDCA 2002 National, Mason/Dixon BMDC supported entry sweeps in 2001, and the Warrenton KC all breed match working group in 2002. I have also stewarded with the Atlanta KC this past summer.
