I
bought my first BMD in 1959. Trained and showed her to first North
American title, a CD in 1962.
I have Trained and shown many BMD’s to multiple titles, including the
first Champion UDT. I have finished 12 AKC
champions under the kennel name Shepherd's Patch.
Charter member of BMDCA and BMDCSE Wisconsin, served as President and on
Board of BMDCA and BMDCSEW. Belong to
Waukesha Kennel Club and Western Waukesha County Dog Training Club.
Currently, I am an instructor for both clubs.
Judged Sweepstakes and Futurity for BMDCA. Judged 2000 BMDCA National
Specialty, regular classes. Approved by AKC to judge BMD’s and Junior
Showmanship.
Served as Records Chair of BMDCA for 15 years. Member of the Standard
Committee 1980 and 1990. BMDCA draft judge and have served on Working
Draft Committee. Chair of BMDCA 1987 National Specialty and served on the
committees for 1981, 1990 and 2000 National Specialties. I have attended
all BMDCA National Specialties and one Swiss Zuchtschau. I currently
serve on the BMDCA Judge's Education Committee.
